Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) uses strong magnetic fields and radio waves to generate images of internal body structures, which can help discover various diseases or masses to facilitate early treatment for patients. As MRI does not emit ionising radiation, it can accurately and non-invasively perform multiplanar scanning and diagnose some cancers by detecting, identifying and monitoring the tumours.
